Job Purpose:
Attracts college graduates by tracking college educational achievements; planning and implementing recruiting campaigns.

Duties:
* Determines recruiting objectives by studying organization plans and job requirements; conferring with hiring managers.

* Identifies recruiting sources by studying college programs and educational achievements; interviewing college representatives; matching job requirements with likely candidate sources.

* Establishes recruiting schedule by studying college schedules; conferring with college representatives; identifying job fairs; developing itineraries.

* Develops recruiting presentations by collecting, designing, and preparing written and visual materials; writing and coordinating web page content; contracting for booth design and construction; coordinating physical requirements.

* Establishes candidate qualifications by developing knowledge, skill, and screening questions for each position; conducting screenings, interviews, and tests; exploring career options with candidates; examining college records; completing reference checks.

* Refers qualified candidates by summarizing qualifications; forwarding information to hiring manager; arranging visit, including travel and accommodations, to organization locations, or to campuses by hiring managers.

* Extends employment offers by selling organization values, strengths, and opportunities; negotiating final terms with candidates; completing contracts.

* Avoids legal challenges by complying with Federal and State legal requirements, especially equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action (AA) guidelines, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

* Maintains human resource information system (HRIS) database by entering recruiting data; integrating information.

* Prepares recruiting and hiring reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
